Areas of Study
Voice Lessons
(Ages 10+) Students learn Classical, Musical Theatre, Jazz, and Contemporary technique and repertoire while developing the vocal strength, range, and flexibility to adapt to any character or style. Students will also learn basic music theory, sight singing, and ear training. Duet & Trio lessons are also available - call for details.
Beginning Voice & Musicianship
(Ages 4+) Do you have a little one who loves to sing? Full-fledged vocal training can be harmful for very young voices...so these beginner lessons are designed with our youngest singers in mind. Students learn how to take care of their voices, and how to establish good basic vocal habits and skills - so they are already a step ahead of the game when their voice develops and they are ready to begin true vocal training. These lessons include singing, movement, acting, piano, music theory, exposure to different styles of music...and more!
Piano Lessons
(Ages 5+) Learn to tickle those ivories at any age! Lessons include technique, music theory, and a wide range of repertoire. No matter your musical aspirations, piano is a foundational skill that will enhance all other musical endeavors.
Audition Preparation
Do you have a big audition coming up? Walk in with confidence knowing you are fully prepared! In audition preparation, we will tackle your song and/or monologue, as well as address physicality, character development, speech/diction, and whatever else is needed to master your dream role. We will also spend time on audition strategies and a game plan to overcome your nerves so your talents can shine!
College Prep Program
For serious students wishing to continue their musical education at the college level, our College Prep program is a highly individualized course of study incorporating voice, piano, music theory, movement, acting, career counseling, performance, resume building and audition preparation as needed to help the student reach his/her goals. A minimum of 1-hour per week is recommended for these students.
